Sign up at least 20 NEW participants to Food Lion Food Store Fund Raising program
that supports The NCPBL Foundation, Inc.  Enter those individuals into the Food Lion database at:

Names must be entered by September 30, 2008, to count towards the 4th Quarter of 2008.
Entries entered after September 30, 2008 will count towards the 1st quarter of 2009.  So get
those names entered as soon as possible.  Entries will be verified beginning the week of
October 13, 2008.  If the names cannot be found in the Food Lion database, your entry will be
disqualified.  Please note on the sign-up sheet that
all 12 digits are required from the MVP cards
as well as all phone number (required by Food Lion) 
This information is not shared with anyone.

The local chapter that signs up the MOST NEW Participants will win $150.00,
2nd place wins $100.00, and 3rd place wins $50.00.  Checks will be presented
to winning chapters at the Fall Leadership Development Conference.

Also, by signing up at least 20 NEW participants you will have completed one of
the PROJECT requirements (The NCPBL Foundation, Inc., Chapter Challenge)
on the Terry Lowrance Leadership Award.  Be sure to return the forms by
October 13, 2008, for completion of one item for the Gold Star Chapter Recognition!
A copy of the form is enclosed and is also located on the website and in the
State Handbook, Appendix 2.  Please make copies as needed.

TIE BREAKER:  Determined by RECEIVED BY DATE at the Foundation Office.  Should all entries
in a tie be received on the same day, they will be placed in a random drawing.
