Montgomery CC - Fall 2013

The first meeting as well as an information session was held on Wednesday, September 12th. There were 5 new members who attended and gained knowledge about PBL. New officers were also elected. Current members decided to let new members intern to gain experience for next year’s officers elections. During this time members also voted on some fundraisers for the upcoming year; they include, car wash, bake sale, barbecue plate sale, and 50/50 raffle.

Annual Car Wash
Singing: “Working at the car wash…working at the car wash!”
Our first car wash of the year was held Friday, September 27th. This was a great team effort event. Everyone worked hard and diligently. Proceeds will be used to offset costs for fall conference.

Baby Food and Formula Drive
Phi Beta Lambda held a baby formula and baby food drive to serve those in need in Montgomery County. All items were donated to the Biscoe Food Pantry. Items needed are: canned baby food, baby cereals, any kind of infant/toddler formulas, nutritional supplement drinks, etc.
